RGV native revisits, discusses latest project

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Mathieu Caviness, actor, model, and stuntman visited with our Danielle Banda to discuss his latest project and advice for aspiring actors.

Currently, Caviness plays a young FBI serial killer profiler in "The Cyber-Psycho Chronicle's Series".

The 18-year-old is wrapping up his studies but has this piece of advice for those wishing to pursue acting.

"Make sure you have an organized plan. Don't always focus on one [school/acting] or the other. If you want to do both, of course, but make sure you always work on those studies. You don't want to fail those classes. You still have to graduate. Don't give up. That's the one thing that you hear from everyone. Don't give up don't stop doing your dreams. If you have a goal go for it. I want to be in Hollywood but right now I have to take the next step which is to start locally. Hopefully, by the time I'm 25, I'll be in Hollywood."
