Harlingen Junior League presents KidFit Fun & Festival

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Junior League of Harlingen presents its annual KidFit Festival and Fun Run.

The event is open to the entire Rio Grande Valley community. This is a free event, with no entry fees, with an optional 1-mile fun run.

Participants are provided opportunities to learn about services in the community, nutrition, and ways to achieve a healthier lifestyle.

New activities this year include:

• photography contest (must pre-register)
• Chess educational booth
• Eat the Rainbow activity from a Holistic Integrated Nutritionist
• RGV Food Bank to hand out fresh produce bags
