Residents near TV tower south of La Feria urged to evacuate as precaution

LA FERIA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Residents in the immediate vicinity of a TV tower south of La Feria are being encouraged to evacuate as a precaution.

Structural experts investigating the tower advised that there is a structural issue that may come with the slight possibility of a collapse.

As a precautionary measure, those in the immediate vicinity are encouraged to evacuate voluntarily. Experts will be on the scene Thursday to address and correct the situation.
